World Renowned Choir Involved In Fiery Crash

A world renowned choir from Alabama was involved in a fiery crash on Saturday morning.

The Aeolians of Oakwood University were on their way to San Francisco to perform a concert at the Third Baptist Church.

A Lincoln Navigator plowed into the back of the bus they were travelling in and caused a fiery explosion. The driver of the Navigator was killed. All students and staff aboard the bus escaped safely before the bus was engulfed with flames.

The director of the choir, Dr. Jason Max Ferdinand, stated that “Shaken up, very much so but thankful we lost things and not lives.”

The choir lost all their personal belongings on the bus but the bay area was quick to respond with donations and clothing for the choir members.

Performing shortly after the accident at the Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist Church in San Francisco, the choir was determined to continue using their voices to bring healing to themselves and others.
