Celebrating Men’s Health Week

"Celebrating Men's Health Week"

This week is for the Men! From June 10th until Father’s Day, we are focusing on men’s health. Having a healthy mind, body and soul helps you to have a higher quality of life.

Eating healthy, exercising, drinking plenty of water, taking time to relax and having an attitude of gratitude are integral for a healthy life. Part of being healthy is practicing prevention. Many illnesses, diseases and sicknesses are preventable when proper care is taken to avoid various risk factors.

Take time to visit your doctor and learn the signs to look for and lifestyle changes you may need to make to minimize or lower the risks that can cause unwanted health issues.

Wear BLUE Day . This week, wear blue and encourage your family, co-workers church members and friends to do the same.  Wearing blue allows you to raise awareness about the importance of Men’s Health and to let the men in your life know how much you care. Also encourage the men in your life to maintain healthy lifestyles and to schedule regular checkups to assist in early detection and prevention of various illnesses.
