The Latest Social Media Challenge: Teens Eating Tide Detergent Pods

According to recent reports, teens are participating in a dangerous challenge known as the “Tide Pods Challenge”. This challenge, which is usually video recorded, consists of teens eating colorful detergent pods that look like candy, and encouraging others to do the same.
This challenge is taking social media by storm, but doctors are warning that this is a very dangerous joke and could be fatal. There have been at least 10 deaths linked to ingesting these pods. Two were toddlers, eight were seniors with dementia. For more details on this story, click here.
